1. Why the name Ivy Elite? 

Ivy Elite to lead beyond statistics, stereotypes, and labels through endurance, friendships, faithfulness, and fidelity. The founder wants each child to know they can thrive beyond their trials and tribulations in the home, school, and community.  


2. Who is the founder?

Ashley Nash a native of Monroe, Louisiana is the founder and currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.


3. Where was Ivy Elite founded?

Grambling State University in Grambling, LA on November 20, 2008 based on her platform for reign on the Gamma Gamma Chapter, 2008-2009 Miss Omega Royal Court during her freshman year of college. 


4. Is Ivy Elite a 501c3?

Yes, Ivy Elite is a tax exempt charitable organization. 


5. How many active areas/chapters are within Ivy Elite?

Grambling, Monroe, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Hammond.


6. Does Ivy Elite have paid employee's?

Ivy Elite does not hire employee's or pay volunteer's within the organization. Hiring for pay or partnering with organizations, agencies, and companies for pay is against our policy. Any volunteer seeking pay from any company, agency, or organization will be removed from Ivy Elite. 


7. Where does all donation funding go?

All donations and sponsorships funding is primarily budgeted for the youth within the organization for weekly mentoring sessions, seminars, college tours, community service projects, workshops, service t-shirts, family and friends day, balloon release awareness events, blessing bags for the homeless, and beautillion-cotillion gala. 


8. What age range do you work with?

Ivy Elite works with the youth and adolescents ages 4 to 17 and 18 to 21 age range for college students. 


9. Does Ivy Elite work with a specific gender and race?

Ivy Elite actively works and mentors with male and female genders. We accept all race, genders, and ethnicities.  


10. How can I become an active Volunteer with Ivy Elite?

You can become an active volunteer by emailing your interest letter and resume to ivyeliteinc@gmail.com. The founder  or a board member will reach out to you for an meet and greet interview.


11. Are you looking for male and female volunteers? 

Yes , Ivy Elite is looking for male and female volunteers in each active location. 


12. Will volunteers have to complete a background check? 

Each prospective volunteer will have to complete a background check before actively mentoring youth within Ivy Elite. 


13. Is Ivy Elite affiliated with a sorority in NPHC Greek Organization?

Ivy Elite is not affiliated with any sororities in the NPHC Greek Organization. 


14. Are you affiliated with the men of Omega Psi Phi, Inc.?

We are recognized by the Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Incorporated, as the founder of Ivy Elite and an active committee member for the Miss Omega Psi Phi Royal Court at Grambling State University. She honors her reign in the colors of the organization's peacock. 


15. How can my child be involved with Ivy Elite Mentoring?

The founder will host interest meetings in each active area/chapter every August and January, as well as visit with local schools. If you, feel Ivy Elite should get more involved with your child's school, send an email at ivyeliteinc@gmail.com


16. What is Collegiate Alliance for Ivy Elite?

A support program for college women to help each individual actively engage through life and quipping them to be elite in everything they do with class and elegance. A variety of services in this program to help them reach their goals after college mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. 


17. Is Ivy Elite affiliated with The Ivy League (The 8 Schools)? 

IVY ELITE COLLEGIATE ALLIANCE program is not associate with THE IVY LEAGUE. IVY ELITE'S nonprofit organizational services for COLLEGIATE ALLIANCE are not sponsored, licensed, or otherwise approved by THE IVY LEAGUE. IVY ELITE has its on foundational board and standards for students currently enrolled in colleges and universities seeking life coaching, mentoring, women empowerments, faith based understanding, and mental health advocacy. IVY ELITE prefers and wants no affiliation with THE IVY LEAGUE. IVY ELITE stands on its on entity and platform. We prefer to walk in our light!
